About ASR |
|
The Association of Student Representatives (ASR) is Trinity University's student government - the organization of elected student representatives who advocate for the development and advancement of your interests during your undergraduate years at Trinity University. ASR wants to make things happen and work to improve the quality of student life, and by representing your thoughts and interests, ASR ensures that Trinity is not a place where you merely inhabit and study - but a community in which students can actively live.
Every day, the ASR team is working for you. Our senators are meeting in committees, engaging the administration in discussions, and researching topics constantly simply because we want you to have the best college experience possible. We are composed of a Senate, which includes 15 senators (6 sophomores, 4 juniors, and 5 seniors), headed by a President (Senior Emily Faber) and Vice President (Senior Chantal Van Esch). If you’d like to know more about the way we operate, you can skim our Constitution and Bylaws. We hold a public meeting every Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Woodlawn Room of upstairs Coates. If you have any questions, causes, issues or ideas at any time, please e-mail us to let us know, or drop by to see what’s going on in our meeting! We look forward to receiving your input! |
